Frequently Asked QuestionsQuestion 1: Won't the Bakkie Liner cause rust to develop underneath the Liner? Answer: In order for rust to form you need 3 things: Water, Oxygen and open bare metal. As long as your vehicle’s original paint is not damaged, there is no way that rust can develop. If water should somehow get underneath the Bakkie Liner, the original water drain holes/outlets of the vehicle are still open and will allow the water to drain as per normal. Bakkie Liners are manufacture using the latest technology for each different vehicle shape and model to ensure a 100% fit. A perfect fit means no movement of the Liner and therefore no chafing or damage to the paint of your vehicle. There is also special protective tape/foam applied underneath the Bakkie Liner in all the pressure point areas to insure the paint is protected. The Bakkie Liners can also easily and quickly be removed for inspection or cleaning. Question 2: If you dont drill any holes or use pop-rivets and screws to fit the Bakkie Liner, how do you fit the Liner? Answer: Each of our Bakkie Liners has a different patented clipping/hooking systems (included in the installation kit with each Bakkie Liner) that keeps the Liner in place without drilling ANY holes in the vehicle. It ensures that you can quickly and easily remove the Liner should you wish to clean or sell the vehicle. You can then also reuse the Bakkie Liner and fit it on your new vehicle. Question 3: Won't the warm African summer sun damage my Bakkie Liner? Answer: The Bakkie Liners are manufactured using a super tough, high molecular High Density Polyethylene material that has build in UV protection. Therefore it will not fade, warp, crack or split because of high temperatures. Question 4: Will a canopy still fit on my bakkie after fitting a Bakkie Liner?
